all these textures going around, all this small universes that cross in each track blow my mind, this EP is greaaaat
Favorite track: BUT I GOT TIME (mangled ha).
"Reveling in distortion but sonically sophisticated, slamming but rhythmically rich, each of these four grooves feels like it could go on forever." —Bandcamp Daily
"The way in which twofold melds an unmistakably dance-y energy with intricately textured experimental soundscapes is so entertaining to behold. Brazen in its seditiousness, Trax with love perfectly harnesses the eternally burgeoning energy of the queer black club scene." —listencorp

These tracks are a follow up to Club cuts for Nikki, a love letter to Black queer joy and creativity, full of attitude and energy but still capturing lots of nuances and attention to detail for listening anywhere. Put a lot of soul into these tracks for quite a while, I hope you all enjoy <3

Queer Black art defies categorization. I would like to offer a special thank you to the Black artists, producers, and dancers who have operated in countless regional club music scenes within the U.S. for decades, especially those in ballroom scenes. My heart goes out to you <3
Ratttznest makes a lot of different forms of electronic, from experimental theory-informed sounds to more conventional four-to-the-floor—all of it is colored by her incredibly deep sound design. twofold
Sepha makes Baltimore club, footwork, and IDM, and her tracks are just pure fun to listen to. Always good to watch her DJ too, so much energy and chaos! twofold
Zvrra is no stranger to creating intensely atmospheric music—ORIGINS is a clear example of that. Synths and samples swirl all around the listener, resulting in dark emotive grooves. twofold
